All Tools

An honest note up front: this site currently offers one converter, and it handles every conversion listed below. Each card maps to a conversion the same free tool performs — open it, add your file, and choose the target format. There are no separate downloads or hidden tools, and nothing is uploaded at any point.

Raster Conversions

The everyday pairs between PNG, JPG and WebP. Whichever direction you need, the path is the same: add the file in the converter and pick your target format.

PNG to JPG

Flattens transparency onto white and applies adjustable JPG compression — great for shrinking screenshots you email or send through forms that refuse PNG.

Open converter

PNG to WebP

Usually the largest size saving this tool can make, at the same dimensions. A few older browsers cannot encode WebP — if yours is one of them, the tool says so.

Open converter

JPG to PNG

Re-saves the photo without any further lossy compression. Handy when an app or form demands PNG, with the trade-off of a larger file.

Open converter

JPG to WebP

The modern swap for photographs: similar compression ideas, generally smaller results at comparable quality. The quality slider controls the balance.

Open converter

WebP to PNG

Decodes the WebP and re-encodes it losslessly for editing tools or software that still rejects WebP. Expect the file to grow.

Open converter

WebP to JPG

For platforms that only accept JPG. Transparent areas are flattened onto white, and your chosen quality setting controls the size.

Vector and Other Formats

Special cases that deserve a note: vectors are genuinely rasterized, animations are captured at their first frame, and AVIF support depends on your browser.

SVG to PNG

Your vector artwork is rasterized by the browser’s own renderer. PNG keeps edges crisp and preserves a transparent background.

Open converter

SVG to JPG

Rasterizes the drawing onto a white background and compresses it. A practical choice for quick sharing where transparency is not needed.

Open converter

SVG to WebP

A compact raster copy of your vector file. Works wherever your browser supports WebP encoding; if it does not, the converter tells you plainly.

Open converter

GIF to PNG

Exports the first frame of an animated GIF as a still image — this tool converts images, not animations. Static GIF files convert in full.

Open converter

BMP to PNG

Legacy BMP bitmaps are often enormous. PNG preserves every pixel while the file shrinks to a far more practical size.

Open converter

ICO to PNG

Pulls the image out of a favicon .ico container so you can view it at full size or reuse it elsewhere. PNG is the natural target. Decoding depends on your browser, and some multi-size .ico files convert at their largest embedded size.

Open converter

AVIF to PNG

AVIF decoding is browser-dependent. Where your browser supports it, the conversion is genuine; where it does not, the tool explains instead of failing silently.

Special Guidance

Two situations where the honest explanation matters as much as the conversion itself.

AI Files (Adobe Illustrator)

Browsers cannot decode Adobe Illustrator drawings, so no in-browser tool can honestly convert a real .ai file. This converter detects Illustrator files, explains exactly why, and walks you through exporting the artwork from Illustrator first — a workflow that genuinely works.

Shrink Before You Convert

Before converting, you can downscale the output to 75, 50 or 25 percent of the original dimensions. Resizing is often the most reliable way to cut file size — and the tool never upscales.

One converter, many conversions

Every card on this page leads to the same place: drop in a file, pick PNG, JPG or WebP, adjust quality or size if you like, and download — all processed on your own device.
