Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026. This policy describes exactly what the AI Image Converter does and does not do with your data. The short version: images are converted locally in your browser, never uploaded, and no personal data is collected.
Overview
The AI Image Converter is a free, browser-based tool for converting images between common formats such as PNG, JPG and WebP. It has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. Everything you convert is processed on your own device, inside your own browser. This page explains that in detail so you can judge for yourself rather than take it on faith.
Files You Convert
Images you choose to convert are never uploaded. When you add a file, it is read by your browser using the File API, decoded using your browser’s own image decoders, and re-encoded on your device. The finished file is handed back to you as a local download. There is no upload endpoint on this site, so there is no mechanism by which your image could reach a server, and no server-side storage where it could be kept.
You do not have to trust this description — you can verify it. Open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the network tab, and convert a file: no image data is transmitted anywhere. The only requests are the ones that loaded the site itself.
Information We Do Not Collect
To be specific about what this site does not gather:
- No names, email addresses or contact details — unless you choose to email us yourself
- No cookies or similar tracking technologies
- No analytics, usage statistics or behavioral tracking
- No advertising or advertising identifiers
- No file contents — the images you convert never reach a server
Contacting Us
The contact page does not transmit anything to this site. The form there composes a message in your own email application; nothing is sent until you press send in that application. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use that information only to read and respond to your message. We do not add your address to any list, share it with anyone, or use it for any other purpose.
Hosting
This site is served via Cloudflare Pages. As with any website, requests to view its pages are handled by the hosting provider’s infrastructure. Cloudflare may process standard request logs — such as the requested URL, timestamp and the IP address a request came from — for security and operational purposes, under Cloudflare’s own privacy practices. This site does not add to, cross-reference or otherwise use those logs.
The sample images offered in the tool are ordinary static files, served exactly like any other web asset. Loading one is no different from loading the page itself.
Children’s Privacy
This tool is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — children included. Because images are converted locally and no data is collected, there is nothing for a child to disclose by using it.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will be described clearly rather than buried. Check back occasionally if this policy matters to you.
