Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 1, 2026. These terms govern your use of the AI Image Converter website and tool. They are deliberately short and written in plain language.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AI Image Converter website, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. You do not need to create an account or provide any information to use the tool, so acceptance happens simply by using it.
What the Service Is
The AI Image Converter is a free, browser-based tool that converts images between common formats — for example PNG, JPG and WebP — entirely on your own device. Conversion is performed by your browser using standard web technology; files are not uploaded to a server. Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files cannot be decoded by browsers, so for those the tool provides guidance rather than a conversion. The service is provided as is, with no accounts, no fees and no guarantees of availability.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the site in the following ways:
- For any unlawful purpose, or to process content you have no right to use.
- To attempt to break, overload, reverse or interfere with the operation of the site or its hosting.
- To misrepresent the tool — for example, presenting its output as an official Adobe product or claiming endorsement that does not exist.
Your Files and Your Rights
Files you convert stay on your device. The site never receives copies of them, because there is no upload mechanism. You retain all rights to the content you convert; using this tool does not transfer, license or otherwise change your ownership of your own material in any way.
Intellectual Property of the Site
The design, text and code of this website belong to the site and may not be republished wholesale without permission. You are of course free to use the tool itself, and to link to it. Adobe and Adobe Illustrator are trademarks of Adobe Inc. This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Adobe Inc., and no affiliation is claimed. References to Adobe products are factual and descriptive only.
No Warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Conversion may fail or produce unexpected results for unsupported, corrupted or unusual files, and browser differences can affect output. No guarantee is made that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its maintainers are not liable for any data loss, lost profits or other damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its output. Conversion does not modify your original files, but you should always keep backups of anything important. If the result of a conversion matters, check it before relying on it.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new date at the top, and continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page, which composes an email in your own email application.
